Georgian English sterling silver sauce boat, 18th century

Height x width x depth: 13 x 18.7 x 9 cm. Weight: 240 g.
helmet-shaped with loop handle and beaded rim, resting on three hoof feet each adorned with foliate details, and decorated overall with vegetal motifs.

Sterling silver, hallmarked with faintly legible marks used England, very likely in the city of Sheffield, during the 18th century.
