Italian silver holy water stoup, late 19th century

The upper part repoussé and chased to depict a dove of the Holy Spirit with a triangular halo, symbol of the Trinity, placed between clouds and stars, with a shell at the center. The basin is in turn repoussé and chased with geometric and floral motives.
800/1000 silver, hallmarked with the mark used in Italy between 1873 and 1935.
