rectangular in shape with a hinged lid and internal gilding, entirely nielloed with floral and geometric motifs.

Hallmarked with the multi-funcional hallmark for silver at a fineness of 84 zolotniks (875/1000) used in Moskow between 1899 and 1908, assayer Ivan Sergeyevich Lebedkin, and bearing the mark of the silversmith Nikolay Kemper.
