Solid silver ladle, Asia, 18th-19th century

Length x width: 43 x 9 cm. Weight: 190 g.
probably for ceremonial use due to its large size, it has a long, smooth handle, a knot, and the concave part is decorated with a floral engraving, probably a stylised rose or flower in the centre, surrounded by symmetrical lines delineating the petals and giving a radial sense to the decoration. A bird figure is engraved at the top, probably an ornamental symbol with stylised naturalistic references.
The ornamental flakes and the engraved bird could suggest a connection with Asian art, between the 18th and 19th centuries.
