in the form of a two-handled vase resting on a circular foot; the body embossed and chased with acanthus leaves, and the rim is gadrooned with vegetal leaves.

Sterling silver, fully hallmarked with the marks used in London in 1835-36 and bearing the mark of a silversmith John Tapley (1834-37).
