French gilded bronze Guéridon, Paris, late 18th, early 19th century
Height x diameter: 80 x 85 cm
Circular in shape, with central stump resting on ferine stones with winged putti on top. Marble top with perimeter decoration of acanthus leaves. For the great quality of the bronzes and chiseling, although unsigned, it is attributable to Pierre Philippe Thomire (1751-1843).
