Rectangular bronze plaque with dark brown patina; 79.8 x 65.8 mm; 87.5 g.
In the center, lying on the ground, the dead Christ, supported by the Virgin Mary and at his feet an angel holding the shroud in his hands. Background with trees and clouds. Dotted background; filled edge.
Ref. Rossi F. 2011 describes a similar work, but with two angels, attributing it to the Dutch master Arent van Bolten.
