Pair of apothecary jars, Naples, late 17th century

24 x 10 x 9 cm; 23.5 x 10 x 9.5 cm
ceramic jars with a slightly tapered body in the center with rounded shoulder and base. Everted upper rim, disc-shaped base cut on the stick. Lathe-shaped. White and blue decoration with landscape scene within reserve. Pharmaceutical inscription within a cartouche on the front of the base. Initials with date on the back.
Condition: good with minimal enamel deficiencies due to firing.
