Jesus Christ is carried into the sarcophagus by Nicodemus and Joseph of Arimathea; behind, Mary with clasped hands; on the right, Mary Magdalene kneeling. On the ground, a basin and a vase; in the background, Calvary and Jerusalem. On the left of the scene, a rocky group with branches and a crescent moon in the center.
