This beautiful fusion repeats the archaeological model preserved in the Capitoline Museums in Rome, a sculpture dating back to the 2nd century AD.
This is a 19th century fusion (typical of the Grand Tour taste), probably dating back to the first half of the century.
State of conservation : Mounted in statuary marble. Light wear.
