The department also offers expert appraisal services on pictorial, sculptural, and graphic works from the 19th, 20th, and 21st centuries.
At the department there is always a selection of paintings, sculptures, drawings and applied artworks of various price ranges that can be purchased out of auction.
All lots with a maximum estimate of €1,500 or more are checked through the Art Loss Register database.
A scholar and art collector, Raffaele Cecora has a long and articulate experience in the art market, including as a gallery owner. He particularly bears his signature on the Ricerca d'Arte project, among the first Italian galleries to specialize in 20th-century Italian figurative sculpture.
