Under the direction of Raffaele Cecora, the department deals with design and the decorative arts of the 20th century with particular attention to glass and ceramics.
Its staff awaits the study, cataloguing, evaluation and placement on the Italian and foreign markets of objects of applied art and design for sale, both for the enchanting trade and in the form of private negotiation (private sale), the latter for pieces of particularly high economic and historical artistic value.
The department also offers a specialist appraisal service.
At the department there is always a selection of items in various price ranges that can be purchased out of auction.
A scholar and art collector, Raffaele Cecora has a long and articulated experience in the field of the art market, also as a gallery owner. His signature is in particular the Ricerca d'Arte project, one of the first Italian galleries to specialize in 20th century Italian figurative sculpture.
