Collection of lots


Please note that lots can only be picked up by appointment and within 30 days following the auction date.


The buyer may collect the items themselves, or a third party may do so on their behalf, provided they have a signed authorization and a copy of the buyer’s ID.

Items will be released only after Bertolami Fine Art Srl has successfully processed the payment and you have received the paid invoice via email.

Shipping of lots


Bertolami Fine Art Srl does not handle shipping directly. We partner with trusted, independent shipping companies.

After the auction, you’ll receive via email a shipping estimate (including packaging and insurance) from our selected shipping partner. This estimate is provided for your convenience and is not binding—you're welcome to decide whether or not to proceed.

If you prefer, you may choose your carrier. In this case, please fill out the indemnity letter (download here) and send it to a.tabacco@bertolamifineart.com.

Exporting of lots


Exporting lots outside Italy may require ministerial authorization.

If an export permit is needed, the process can take 30-90 days, depending exclusively on the Export Office of the Italian Ministry of Culture.

Bertolami Fine Art Srl and the shipping companies are not responsible for any delays. The shipper can apply for the permit on your behalf only after payment is completed.

Important Notes

  • Shipping costs are not included in the auction invoice and will be billed separately by the chosen shipping company.
  • Once the item has been handed over to the shipping company, Bertolami Fine Art Srl is not responsible for any shipping delays or potential damages.
  • Please contact the chosen shipping company directly for any updates on your shipment status.
